For the 1968 season Frank Huszar of Race Car Specialties front-halved the 1967 Beebe Bros. & Sixt chassis and Tom Hanna added a nose piece. George Cerny applied a green stripped paint scheme. And that is where this Beebe & Mulligan story begins.

In late 1968 Mulligan got his funny car license in the ill-fated "Ratty Cat" Chevy powered Cougar. The following season both Gerry and John would suffer fatal accidents.

In September of 1968 Tim and John decided that their current car wasn't going to take them to the next level so they ordered a new RCE (Woody Gilmore) car. The old car was sold to Leland Kolb (above) who ran it a few times locally with a late model hemi (426) then sold it to Jim Reed in Australia (below).
