 John Mulligan and Tim
Beebe in late 1968 when they took delivery of their new Woody
car - not having a clue it would be their last together.
 For its debut the car
was loaded up and taken to Tulsa, OK for the NHRA World Finals.
 In spite of a tricky
track, Mulligan waded his way though the 32 car field and was
runner up to Bennie Osborn after losing a clutch in the finals.
Another bridesmaid outing in spite of setting low ET and Top
Speed of the meet.
 After Tulsa they returned
to Orange County International Raceway. Note Gary Cochran (far
left) and Wes Cerny behind the blower scoop.
 John Mulligan at a Saturday
race at Lions Drag Strip in Long Beach, CA (late 1968). This
is believed to be the last outing before the winter break.
